This app has four different weather related calculations. Wind chill - relative humidity - F to C, C to F - and heat index. The Wind chill has both the old formula (named aeronautical since it was told to me that it was more for wing icing and such on airplanes so it is based on 9 meters up), and the new formula (named civil for feet planted on ground). There is supposed to be a new revision yet, which might become civil 2. The heat index takes it's values from the Drybulb and Relative Humidity fields, insert input there. If values are entered outside of 'normal' ranges the results are unpredictable (no crashes, just unrealistic results) - wind speed below 4 mph is locked to 4 (anything less has no apparent effect). This app was created to fulfill a need for anything weather for my son, Kenneth M, and to have a small footprint on my already overstuffed IIIe special edition. The app would not be possible if not for Dave Bennett's original wind chill app and his note's and 'Quartus Neal' who instantly helps, and for Steve Donahue's Hello World tutorial. Thanks! This was created entirely on board with rsrcedit and Quartus forth.

.7 (12/26/01) - Another respected developer colleague pointed out a format item.
.3 (12/24/01) - After a respected developer colleague gave some input, the landscape was changed to look better on more machines, and to give a little more help to the inputs.

Great little app! It lost a star only because I live in Canada, and hence the calculations in fahrenheit don't really help me. It requires me to make unnecissary calculations, a metric version would be greatly appreciated!
