Application Description
Tide Tool displays tide and current graphs and tables for over 6900 locations worldwide. Displays times of sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset, and moon phases. Covers years 1998 to 2031. User-selectable units of height and speed.
Updated Description:
Version 2.2 (2/17/04) supports expansion memory cards. and once again offers locations in the U.K. A tide level guide, at a level selected by the user, can be displayed on the graph and tide table. The software and web site are now offered in French as well as English, and the French tidal coefficient is computed for French west coast ports.

I have been using a PC based tide+current software since 1995. I purchased it for $100 along with subsequent upgrades. This Tide Tool does everything the PC software can do, but better, and for free even. I've got to hand it to Walt for producing a great product. You've got my thanks. Happy sailing.

Wow! This program is exactly what I need for doing landscape photography. Easy to use, easy to tailor to your own specific needs, great interface, and just enough detail. Thanks for a great tool.

Free?? And it includes both the tides and sunrise/sunset. It doesn't get any better than this. This program is straightforward and concise. As a Game Warden, it is important for me to know the tides and sunrise/sunset times. This program does it well and includes many tide locations so you will be able to find wherever it is that you desire. Outstanding!!

I love this program - it has so many features and even has my sparsely populated area of the world covered. I use it mostly for the moon and sunsets but the tide information is useful too. I do it all for photography. Runs great, looks great and I can't believe it is free!
