  • Application Description

The basic ThermaPalm™ thermometer software is available free. The software allows the user to measure and continuously display temperature including max/min and average readings.

The software also allows the user to save/record up to 20 temperature readings with the option of a 30-character note. To clear the readings from the Palm, the user is required to HotSync, uploading the data to a PC where it can be analysed or saved for future reference.

The basic Thermapalm thermometer software has been designed to allow the user to decide which information is displayed on the PDA screen. The user can select whether to display the real-time and date, the summary (maximum, minimum and average) and whether the operation button is to be displayed on the left or right side of the display.

Additionally, the user can select between °C or °F and the resolution of either 1°C or 0.1°C. The user can also set the sample rate (display update time), between one and ten seconds and the sample read mode to; constant, acquire, on/off or save readings mode.

    Requirements: Palm OS 3.5

Note: Receiving actual temperature readings requires a probe (purchased seperately - www.etiltd.co.uk)
