    Application Description
    Free geologic time scale for Palm OS. Subdivisions of the Earth's geology (periods, epochs and ages) from Cenozoic to Precambrian in relative and absolute time (million years). Tapping on the main screen opens up a table listening of the different eras and periods that are selectable. Short summaries of the periods tectonic setting, climate, plant and animal development are included. Magnetic anomalies are listened for Cenozoic and Mesozoic. A find field will open up all available eras, periods and ages.

    This app is basically an easy to to access timeline of the different geological periods. It has what appears to be accurate data according to the currently accepted scientific studies. It has some basic help screens for those not familiar with geology. The only non positive comment is that it could have had some more information and explanations, but it is an overall good product.
